Blue Hitler is the horrific vision that fascism is essential to human existence. He is a direct answer to Adorno’s idea that poetry is not possible after Aushwitz. For it is by externalizing the holocaust that we give it potential to return. It is by creating the category of Evil that we veil its history in our shadows and carry it with us to our next tragic genocide. Fascism does not end with Hitler. It continues and breeds in all meaning, in all $ense. Blue Hitler represents the affirmation of this contradiction which resides in every one of us.
