Founded in 2002, the Theatre of the Parabolik Guerilla was incorporated as a Non-Profit Organization in early 2007.

Mission:
The Theatre of the Parabolik Guerilla pursues the mission of creating theatrical events addressing the organic sensibility of the public, stimulating the imaginary and philosophical reflection. By means of a ritualistic theatre in which historical events, symbols, myths, and concepts are incarnated and corporealized, it wages a poetic war with the disenchanted world we live in. The Parabolik Guerilla endeavours to entice the public to engage in life and participate in the construction of the significatory architectures that direct human thought, by testing the elasticity of the fabric that weaves together the world, the body and meaning.

Mandat:
Le Théâtre de la Guérilla Parabolique se donne pour mission de redonner un souffle au théâtre en offrant au public des oeuvres qui, s’adressant à la sensibilité organique, stimulent l’imagination et la réflexion philosophique. Il s’applique, dans sa démarche artistique, à réenchanter un monde désenchanté, à renouer avec la pratique du mythe et de l’échange symbolique et à explorer une dimension plus corporelle de l’expérience artistique. Au début de ses activités, la troupe organisait des événements-happening où des soirées-théâtre à public réduit. Elle présente de plus en plus ses spectacles devant un public plus vaste.
